Failure Analysis of Concrete Specimen (ISE 2012)

HPP DAMP

Half power point damping algorithm used for the determination of structural and soil damping levels. HPP DAMP is a relatively simple program which follows the approach outlined in many modal analysis and experimental structural dynamics texts for the determination of equivalent viscous damping using frequency response data.

Current version is 1.0.

Platform: MS Excel (no VBA), portable to any platform running MS Excel.

HPP

Wave Decay

SDOF wave decay algorithm utilizing modal analysis and mode superposition for the determination of structural and ground vibration impacts.

Current version is 1.0.

Platform: MS Excel (no VBA), portable to any platform running MS Excel.

SDOF

Vibration Influence Calculator (VIC)

Vibration Influence Calculator to determine the theoretical maximum ground vibration influence distance due to civil engineering construction and demolition. VIC is used after the source vibration levels have been found and it is desired to determine the distance from the vibration source to some predetermined impact level (such as the US Bureau of Mines standard, etc.). VIC has been used many times by ISE on both commercial as well as military projects for the U.S. Marine Corps.

Current version is 1.0.

Platform: MS Excel (no VBA), portable to any platform running MS Excel.
